Scottsdale Fall Festival 2013

Scottsdale is holding its free fall festival 2013 on Saturday evening, October 26th from 5 PM until 10 PM. This family-friendly event will be held at the South Eldorado Ball Field at 1909 N. Miller Road. Gather your family members and friends and come on out to this fun event. There will be plenty of activities for every age group.

Festival events will include:

  • Game booths with candy prizes
  • A Costume Contest for kids of all ages, families, and even dogs
  • A Pumpkin Decorating Contest
  • A Haunted Forest
  • Fireworks – to close the evening’s activities

Details About the Pumpkin Carving Contest

The contest is open to everyone, and there is no entry fee. Pumpkins will be judged according to three categories: best overall, most creative, and the scariest. If you intend to enter a pumpkin, you need to drop it off at the Eldorado Ball Fields on Saturday, October 26th between 4 PM and 7 PM. Winners will be announced between 7:30 and 8:00 PM.

Details About the Costume Contests

Costumes are judged on three separate categories: cutest, most creative, and scariest. The children’s portion of the costume contest is divided into three separate age groups, all of which are scheduled at different times. Ages 7 and under are scheduled at 6:10 and at 7:35 PM, ages 8 to 12 take place at 6:35 and 7:55 PM, and ages 13 to 17 are scheduled for 6:55 and 8:15 PM. Additionally, the family costume contest (dogs not included,) takes place at 7:15 PM. The dog costume contest is scheduled for 8:35 PM, with separate judging categories for large and small dogs.
